Footsteps of John Paul II
Wadowice is a small town on the south of Poland, it is a birth place of the polish pope – John Paul II. This is where the tour starts. You visit pope's house, go to the square in Wadowice and try the Kremowki – John Paul's favourite cream-cake.
Next you will visit Kalwaria Zebrzydowska. You will go to the monastery that has its place on the UNESCO list. It was funded by Mikolaj Zebrzydowski in 1602.
The last part of that trip is Lagiewniki. This is the sanctuary connected with Faustyna Kowalska's life. The sanctuary was built in 2002 for the John Paul 's II last visit in Poland. On the south of the sanctuary you will find a cementary where sister Faaustyna was firt burried.
The whole trip takes 7 hours but it depends on you how long you want it to take.
